Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader. The first matchup will feature the Buffalo Bills visiting the Atlanta Falcons at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Falcons enter this primetime matchup fresh off their bye week and are hoping that the momentum of their Week 4 victory over the Commanders carries over from the break. Running back Tyler Allgeier played a big role in that win and he should continue to be a key piece of the offense as they try to crawl back into the NFC playoff hunt.
Below, we’ll go over Allgeier’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.
Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier
Allgeier had 16 carries for 51 yards and a touchdown in their victory over the Commanders two weeks ago, finishing as a top-20 fantasy running back in standard leagues for the week with 11.1 points. It was the third game of the season where the fourth-year back had recorded at least 10 handoffs and he’s been an ideal handcuff for starter Bijan Robinson, who has done a little bit of everything in the offense so far this year.
Something to note is that Allgeier still ranks in the top 30 in yards after contact at 136 even after the bye week, so the Falcons are getting their bang for their buck whenever the backup has his number called. I’d expect him to continue to rack up carries in the coming weeks.
Start or sit in Week 6 Standard leagues?
Start. Buffalo has struggled to contain the run on defense so far this season, yielding 728 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground with the fourth-worst defensive rushing EPA in the entire league. This definitely looks like a week where Allgeier can punch up and produce starter-worthy numbers, so I’d give him a shot in my lineup.
