Zach Charbonnet start or sit: Week 6 fantasy football advice

Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season is already upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the Seattle Seahawks making a cross-country trip to meet the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Seahawks were on the losing end of a wild shootout against the Buccaneers last Sunday, getting clipped by a last-second field goal for a 38-35 setback. Running back Zach Charbonnet was right in the thick of that chaotic battle and he’ll look to make an impact in Duval County this week.

Below, we’ll go over Charbonnet’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 6.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet

Charbonnet took nine carries for 36 yards and a third-quarter touchdown that briefly gave the Seahawks the lead in last week’s loss to the Bucs. It marked the second straight game where the third-year back found the end zone and led him to picking up 10+ fantasy points in standard leagues for a second week in a row.

Charbonnet’s fantasy value this season has been directly tied to his work in the red zone as all three of scores have come on short-yardage situations inside of the 20. In fact, he’s almost been primarily a red-zone back with Kenneth Walker III handling everything else and the Seahawks starter actually leads the league in 20+ yard runs. That limits the fantasy ceiling for the backup RB and while it has mostly worked out for managers who have given him a Flex nod so far, they are taking a huge risk by banking on him to score every week.

Start or sit in Week 6 PPR leagues?

Sit. Jacksonville has had a decent red-zone defense this season where it has yielded just four touchdowns on the ground inside of the 20. I think they hold the Seahawks’ backup in check in this one, rendering him as a non-factor for fantasy managers. Keep him on the bench.

Sit.
