Brock Purdy start or sit: Week 15 fantasy football advice

Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season will continue on this afternoon with a showdown featuring the Tennessee Titans visiting the San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.

The 49ers are fresh off a much-needed bye week given their injury situation this season and are still in the NFC west title hunt at 9-4, sitting just one game behind both the Rams and Seahawks. Quarterback Brock Purdy has also had a few weeks to rest up and we’ll see if he can have a strong finish to the campaign while leading the Niners into the postseason.

Below, we’ll go over Purdy’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 15.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers QB Brock Purdy

Purdy wasn’t explosive, but got the job done in the 49ers’ 28-16 victory over the Browns two weeks ago, throwing for 168 yards with both a passing and a rushing touchdown for the day. It marked his third start since returning from shoulder/toe injuries that kept him out for a bulk of the campaign and his numbers have been just alright, throwing for 566 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions in that span.

The former Mr. Irrelevant has at the very least been efficient in his time on the field this season as his 51.1% success rate ranks second among quarterbacks with at least 100 plays. One can say that he’s been a bit of a checkdown merchant, but that could get the job done against a Titans defense that ranks 29th in passing EPA.

Start or sit in Week 15?

Start. I think Purdy can have a nice outing against this poor Titans defense, posting similar numbers as he did in his return against the Cardinals last month. There are of course better QB options out there for this week, but you should be fine if you have to depend on Purdy in your lineup.
